Pay Per Click search engines allow businesses to advertise and market there services and website with the use of relevant keywords.Advertisers are charged for this service when there advert/keyword is clicked. Businesses can bid with the host website to get a higher ranking listing, businesses with a bigger pay per click budget can choose key words that would typically be a popular search for their service, paying more would get their listing higher on the search page. For example, a customer would search ‘Minibus Hire’ (Minibus Hire being the keyword) a business who has the keyword ‘Minibus Hire’ for their listing and has paid extra to be ranked higher would be at the top of the search engine list.  Host search engines will also decide where to put the business listing depending on relevance, a listing for minibus hire in London for example, can also be listed when a customer searches for vehicle hire in London. Depending on the service provided by the business and which keywords have been selected by the business, will depend on how often it will appear on search engines results. The more keywords selected by the business, the more frequently the listing will appear, leading to more consumers clicking on the businesses website.
